The RDS Advantage system includes many ways to communicate with members and visitors. Its relational database provides integrated e-mail and text messaging, VOIP phone messaging, and bulk mail features such as the U.S. Postal Service NCOAList and Pre-Sort mailing.
Church Communication
- Access internet, email, & mapping software from within the RDS Advantage software
- Communication management also allows "Cherry picking" email addresses or sending group emails
- Send electronic communication (emails, text messages, e-newsletters, contributor's reports, etc.) to individuals or groups, using each user’s preferred email software.
- Utilize Voice-Over-Internet-Protocol to call individuals without investing in additional equipment or using church phone lines (ex. Call 1,000 individuals, delivering a 30-second personalized message, in about 3 minutes).
- Facilitate communication management for contacts of any sort (visitors, hospital visits, home-bound, nursing homes, etc.)
- Reduce postage and processing costs of traditional mail communication by

- Printing self-sealing contributor’s reports, payroll & payables checks

- Convert church-initiated financial transactions to EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) transactions using the NACHA protocol utilized by the RDS Advantage software.
- Maximize the church’s on-line presence using RDS Advantage’s web-based software module, Virtual Village, a Content Management System.
- Customize the church’s Virtual Village website using the Dot Net Nuke framework and functionality to add additional content
- Enable registered users management of their personal information and view of their gifts and pledges
- Provide on-line
- Calendars for the entire church and/or groups (youth, women, men, sports, music, missions, etc.).
- Contributions and payments via NACHA EFT contributions or 3rd party payment
