AD 170) refers to Luke as the author of &#8220;Acts of All the Apostles.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The dictionary defines an activity as &#8220;a specified pursuit in which a person partakes.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The RDS Advantage church management system recognizes this link to name one of its powerful features &#8220;Activities.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>As in the early church, ministries are conducted through the relationship and involvement of leaders, members, visitors and those it touches. In the RDS system an Activity is anything that shows how individuals and families are involved in the life and work of the church. More than 1,000,000 different activities can be tracked with this management feature, and each one can have an unlimited number of members.<\/p>\n<p>Each individual can be enrolled in an unlimited number of activities. Each activity is defined by you, the software user. Attendance and participation can be tracked for each activity as well. When establishing an Activity and adding members, there are options to identify:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Activity type and sub-type<\/li>\n<li>Activity description<\/li>\n<li>Meeting dates<\/li>\n<li>Meeting times of day<\/li>\n<li>Gender of members<\/li>\n<li>Age and age groups<\/li>\n<li>Geographic areas<\/li>\n<li>Health and physical information<\/li>\n<li>Leadership<\/li>\n<li>Involvement status<\/li>\n<li>Involvement position<\/li>\n<li>Marital status<\/li>\n<li>Meeting location by room and building<\/li>\n<li>Ratio of leaders to attendees<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These capabilities provide almost unlimited features for a church to administer its programs, administration, outreach and ministries. Comprehensive communication with people involved in activities is provided by this church management system:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Multiple telephone numbers<\/li>\n<li>VOIP phone messaging<\/li>\n<li>Bulk E-mail<\/li>\n<li>Text messaging<\/li>\n<li>Multiple addresses for letters, postcards and address Labels<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>&#8220;But get up and stand on your feet, for this purpose I have appeared to you, to appoint you a minister and a witness not only to the things which you have seen, but also to the things to which I will appear to you.&#8221;\u00c2\u00a0<\/em><br \/>\n-\u00c2\u00a0Acts 26:16<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Muratorian Canon (c.
